The Chinese New Year or the Lunar New Year was on 31/1/14, just yesterday. Huge parades went on. Please expect a video or two on Monday or Tuesday.

The school is doing a project called 'Food Dudes', it encourages you to eat more healthy and bring more fruit and vegetables into the school. The project is lasting for 16 days.
Each child will get a packet of vegetables and a fruit. The fruits and vegetables we've seen so far include tomatoes, bananas, peppers, carrots and apples. Personally, I have eaten every single fruit and vegetable I have been given, I hope you do the same! Today we were writing limericks in our class, limericks are small poems with the first, second and fifth line rhyming with each other, and the third and fourth line rhyming with each other. (5 in total)
Here are some examples of limericks to get you started. Writing a Limerick's absurd, Line one and line five rhyme in word, And just as you've reckoned They rhyme with the second; The fourth line must rhyme with the third. And one of my own, I recall an old geezer named Paul, He had a great clumsy fall, I helped him up, The nasty pup; Turns out it was the alcohol.
